Terms of Use Alignment ClausesThese alignment clauses ensure consistency between the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Supplier Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for the Himalay.io Platform.
1. DEFINITIONS ALIGNMENTTerms defined in the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and DPA shall have consistent meanings across all documents. In case of conflict, the following hierarchy applies:
- Specific agreements (DPA) take precedence over general terms
- Privacy Policy governs data processing matters
- Terms of Use govern general platform usage
- Cookie Policy governs tracker-related matters
2. DATA PROCESSING ALIGNMENTThe Privacy Policy and DPA are aligned to ensure:

3. USER OBLIGATIONS ALIGNMENTUser obligations set forth in the Terms of Use are consistent with data protection requirements in the Privacy Policy and DPA. Users must:

- Maintain account security as specified in Terms of Use
- Comply with data protection obligations when processing others' personal data
- Respect intellectual property rights as outlined in Terms of Use
4. PLATFORM RESPONSIBILITIES ALIGNMENTHimalay.io's responsibilities are consistently defined across all documents:
- Service provision obligations from Terms of Use
- Data protection responsibilities from Privacy Policy
- Security measures consistent across Privacy Policy and DPA
- Cookie management responsibilities from Cookie Policy
5. DISPUTE RESOLUTION ALIGNMENTDispute resolution mechanisms are aligned across documents:
- Grievance procedures from Privacy Policy apply to data-related disputes
- General dispute resolution from Terms of Use applies to platform usage disputes
- DPA-specific dispute resolution applies to supplier-buyer data processing disputes
6. MODIFICATION AND UPDATES ALIGNMENTAll documents follow consistent update and notification procedures:
- Material changes require notification via Platform and/or email
- "Last Updated" dates are maintained consistently
- Users are notified of changes affecting their rights or obligations
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms
