Joel John Daniel - Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Joel brings over 8+ years of leadership experience in international business development, brand management, and B2B strategy. As the current Business Head – International at Kwik Flex Industries, he has led expansion across the UAE, USA, and GCC, building go-to-market strategies and winning high-value contracts.Previously, Joel served as Brand Manager at Future Consumer, where he successfully launched the iconic Sunkist brand in India, scaling business by 230% and reporting directly to the CEO. He holds an MBA from IIM Kozhikode and a BE in Electronics.Joel now leads Himalay.io full-time, anchoring its strategic vision, market entry planning, and global expansion roadmap.
Rima Malvankar – Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Rima is an accomplished engineering leader with over two decades of experience building and scaling complex software platforms. She has led high-impact engineering teams across some of India’s most innovative startups and product companies, including Builder.io, Instazen (acquired by Qualitia), Hopscotch.in, and Cleartrip.comWith deep expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and product engineering, Rima brings a strong blend of technical depth and leadership experience. Anurag - Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Anurag is a cross-border operations specialist with deep experience in renewable energy development and large-scale project management. Currently working with an investment firm in the Netherlands, he leads major renewable energy infrastructure projects across Europe, overseeing everything from grid compliance to EPC executionWith prior roles across EPCs, consulting firms, and project development companies—and backed by a Master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology from TU Delft—Anurag brings a strong blend of operational excellence, sustainability focus, and complex project delivery expertise to Himalay.io.Anurag supports Himalay in strategic and operational planning and expanding into the EU and GCC markets.
Souvik - Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Souvik is a financial strategist with 14+ years of experience in program management, capital allocation, product strategy, and transformation projects at leading banks.As Senior Vice President at a multinational bank, he led capital efficiency initiatives and the launch of innovative products like India’s first Floating Rate Fixed Deposit. An MBA graduate from IIM X, he brings strong governance, financial discipline, and fundraising insight to Himalay.io.
